Registrations are processed using ASN Events custom online software, Curinda. If you have not attended any previously events managed by ASN, you will be required to set-up a profile to register for this event (delegates who have attended other ASN managed events will already exist in the system and will not need to create a new profile).

When complete, your profile will provide you with a dashboard from which you can register for this (and other) event as well as submit abstracts and register to attend ancillary meetings and/or social functions.

Payment options are:

• AMEX - (2.95% surcharge)

• Credit card - Visa or Mastercard (1.25% surcharge)

• Direct debit - (you will be emailed banking instructions upon application)

An Australian Tax Invoice will be provided for all registrants once registered. You can reprint this and your receipt from your profile at any time.

The ABN for the conference is 90 093 246 176. All rates quoted include GST and are in Australian dollars.

In the event you are unable to attend the conference, substitution of your registration is available to an unregistered colleague or friend by writing an email to ASN Events. Any reimbursement for registration and additional costs must be sought directly with the new attendee.

At the end of your online registration, you will be given the option to pay securely via credit card, or receive an invoice to make a bank transfer. Credit card payments incur a merchant fee as explained above. You will be sent a receipt upon submitting your registration and payment.

If you choose to pay via bank transfer, you will be sent an invoice upon submitting your registration, and full payment must be made before Thursday 8th January 2026 (unless registration is made after this date, in which case payment must be received within 7 days of registering).

Cancellations must be made in writing to ASN Events.

Should your circumstances change, and you are unable to attend the conference, you must contact ASN Events via email emily.g@asnevents.net.au

Registration cancellations will incur a cancellation fee of AU$100 if made in writing before Tuesday 13th January 2026.
Cancellations received after this date will not be refunded. If you have not yet paid for your attendance at the time of cancellation this must be paid in full.

In accordance with the above policy, cancellations made:

Before Tuesday 13th January 2026 will be eligible for a full refund less $100 cancellation fee.

On or after Wednesday 14th January 2026 will not receive a refund, however, delegate substitution is possible.

• The conference organisers and agents reserve the right to alter, without prior notice, any of the arrangements, timetables, plans or other items relating to the conference for any cause beyond its reasonable control.

• The conference organisers are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused as a result of such alteration.

• In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the conference organisers do not accept responsibility for loss of monies caused by delays. Participants are advised to take out personal travel insurance and to extend their policy to cover personal possessions.

• The conference organisers do not cover individuals against cancellations of bookings or theft or damage to belongings.

The registration fee does not include insurance of any kind and the Meeting Secretariat cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance. Delegates are encouraged to make their own insurance arrangements to cover any loss caused by unforeseen delay, circumstance or cancellation.

The Conference Organisers accept no liability if an event is cancelled or postponed for reasons beyond their reasonable control resulting from an act of God, governmental regulation, fire, war, terrorist activity or civil commotion.

If the Conference Organisers elect to re-schedule the conference, all registrations and additional items are automatically rolled over to the new dates of the conference.

If the Conference Organisers elects to cancel the event, the liability is limited to a refund of registration costs, subject to fees and conditions. The conference will not refund any travel costs associated with the cancellation of the event. Accommodation pre-payments will be refunded subject to the terms and conditions of the hotel.

Delegates are strongly advised to secure appropriate travel and health insurance. Delegate registration fees do not provide any such insurance coverage. The Conference Organisers and ASN Events as managing agent, accept no responsibility or liability against cancellations of bookings, loss or inconvenience or theft/damage to belongings in this regard.

By registering, participants acknowledge and consent that during their attendance at the conference their image or voice may be recorded via video, photograph or by any other means (“recorded”) by an officer or official of the conference which may be distributed or published at the discretion of the Conference Organisers. If you do not wish to be recorded, you are required to formally advise ASN Events in advance by email.

Due to the amount of publicly available information on conference and institution websites, some committee members and conference speakers are being contacted by third party companies, often from overseas, purporting to be event managers who request to secure accommodation or flight bookings. These requests always ask for financial information or credit card details and will generally be quite pushy in their attempts. Firms claiming to be legitimate accommodation and travel agents for your event, such as Business Travel Management and e, are not endorsed or authorised by the conference organisers. They are actively trolling event webs and trying to match invited speakers and committees with personal details often found on their own institute websites.

Please note, ASN Events will never ask a third party to retrieve credit card or financial information from you without prior personal arrangement with yourself and an ASN staff member.

Where any payments are required ASN Events will send through an invoice with remittance details which contains full ASN Letterhead, completed by an ASN Staff member and will always be from an @asnevents.net.au email address.

If for any reason you are unsure of the legitimacy of a requested payment, you should always contact your ASN Events Project Manager.
